I started Dos Manos in 2007. It had been a long-term goal to own my own business and after years of planning I was able to do so with the help of friends. I have been painting since 1982, starting on the wall of my Grandmother's garage in El Monte, California. I would have never thought at the time I would be here now, in Virginia Beach, selling abstract works of art. I, myself, failed art in high school and was told I thought way outside the box. The best part about this business is the support of  friends, the people of this city and the local businesses who have helped in more ways than I can count.

I spend lots of time at the oceanfront of Virginia Beach. Here, I have met a handful of artists, and in talking with them, I now know how hard it is to sell art work.  Enjoy this web page and thank you.
